Bed OK, packaging not removed, only cellophane so no problem but I did pay for it to be removed.
Mattress wrong type, asked for a soft waterproof, got a hard non waterproof, due to my condition needed a waterproof one. Installers, though n8ce people didn't know how to put the headboard on properly or the bracket to help hold mattress in place and then said we don't take the rubbish out.
Delivery men turned up at a vulnerable disabled house and refused to take away the old bed despite the fact he had paid for it to be dismantled and the new bed built up. It eventually got sorted after a couple of calls but it was a very distressing time for him and he felt uncomfortable in his own home as the delivery men obviously didn’t want to do the job and made it clear they were going out of their way to do it so just beware as he had paid for all this to be done yet they were adamant they knew nothing about it even though it was on the delivery invoice so I would not buy again from this company nor recommend them unfortunately.
It's a padded headboard that matches the bed base, simple uncomplicated installation and looks good, what more do you want for the price?

Thought it had a matress with it had to buy one next day, from Amazon it’s a lovely bed matches our bedroom colour scheme , very happy with our purchase .
